It is recommended that they be added every 3000 miles or so. HHO gas by nature should keep carbon from building up. I should also help keep your combustion chambers cleaner along with fuel injectors. When you have less carbon buildup you engine runs cooler and is more fuel efficient.
The major benefits of HHO gas is it not only increases efficiency but because of an efficiency increase reduces emissions. This should lead to less pollution. Because of increased engine efficiency you could see increased horse power and many even notice a quieter engine. When you research the technology the typical increase in mileage is about 15 to 40 percent. On some vehicles some are seeing upwards of 100 percent.

When you know how to build a HHO gas generator you can build it for several vehicles and possibly do it for under 100 dollars. Increasing gas mileage or miles per gallon is just one of the many benefits that an HHO generator can supply.
HHO generators as stated are not really that new as far as improving gas mileage. It is not unusual to see HHO generators costing upwards of several hundred dollars not including installation. I have to stress this point again free HHO plans do not always give you all the information you need or step by step details on how to install a HHO generator on your engine with photos.
